Rollout — Collect & Share Event Photos
Rollout is a group photo sharing app. We built it to make it easy to collect and share photos from events with the people who were there. This policy explains exactly what data we collect, how we use it, and how long we keep it.
We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising. We do not share it with anyone outside your event group.
Device Identifier
When you first open Rollout, your device generates a unique random ID (a UUID). This ID is stored on your device and sent to our servers to create your account. We use this to recognise you across sessions. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personal information unless you choose to provide it.
Photos and Videos
When you capture or select photos and videos and share them to an event, those files are uploaded to our servers and stored securely. They are visible to all members of that specific event.
Event Membership
We store which events you have created or joined so we can show you the right content when you return to the app.
What We Do NOT Collect
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the app.
Your account data (device ID and event memberships) is retained for as long as you use the app, or until you request deletion.
To delete your account and all associated data, go to Settings inside the app and tap "Delete My Account". This will permanently remove your device ID, event memberships, and any remaining photos or videos from our servers within 30 days.
Photos and videos you upload to an event are visible only to members of that specific event. Members join by scanning a QR code or entering an event code that you share with them. We do not make any content publicly accessible.
Our staff may access content in limited circumstances only — for example, to investigate a reported violation of these terms or to diagnose a technical issue.
Your photos and videos are stored on secure cloud infrastructure. Your device ID and event data are stored on servers hosted in the European Union / United States.
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all data in transit. Uploaded files are stored using presigned URLs and are not publicly guessable.
No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure. While we take reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Each of these services has their own privacy policy and data processing practices. We do not share your data with any advertising networks, analytics platforms, or data brokers.
Rollout is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the app. Continued use of Rollout after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
